The Webel Q&A system: Privacy Policy
This web page concerning use of data required to operate the Webel Question & Answer (Q&A) system of Webel IT Australia is provided for digital sales compliance, and supplements the Terms & Conditions.
The following Privacy Policy STATEMENT refers to the Webel Q&A system as hosted on the Wolfram Cloud infrastructure (it does not refer to this landing web page or the web server for this page or to the main Webel site).
This Privacy Policy is supplemented by the Wolfram Privacy Policy for web browser HTTP cookie use required for full operation of the Webel Q&A system hosted on the Wolfram Cloud platform of Wolfram Research Inc. Please note that some aspects of the Wolfram Privacy Policy refer to Webel IT Australia as a customer and user of the Wolfram Cloud system, and do not apply to users of the hosted Webel Q&A system itself. Webel IT Australia is not responsible for the policies of Wolfram Research Inc.
Please note that if you use web browser settings options to disable (restrict) some HTTP cookie settings required for use of the Wolfram Cloud platform you may compromise operation of the Webel Q&A system hosted on the Wolfram Cloud platform.
In the following STATEMENT 'you' refers to you as a subscribing customer and user of the Webel Q&A system (the 'service').
STATEMENT: Privacy Policy: Version# v2025-01-10A
In order to operate the Webel Q&A system the collection of some user data is necessary. This data includes: user inputs (such as user Answer responses to Questions on Q&A pages); user registration data; and selected HTTP GET request and HTTP POST form data.
Webel IT Australia only processes and/or collects data essential to operation of the Webel Q&A system.
Webel IT Australia does not share any of the above data with 3rd parties.
Webel IT Australia employs the secure Paddle service for processing of subscription payments, and does not directly manage or access your purchasing credentials.
User registration data includes: Your full name; your position of employment; your affliated organisation; your email address (which is keyed to your subscription account); your personal and/or work address; a unique user access permissions key, and a password.
The IP address of your requesting device is recorded for each HTTP GET request or POST submission you make to the Webel Q&A systems hosted on the Wolfram Cloud infrastructure.
Your user Settings form data is necessarily recorded and stored for processing of your options Settings.
By default, your Answer responses to Questions are handled only within a single Q&A web form page (sufficient to indicate whether your Answer was correct or incorrect) and are not stored. You may choose to opt-in to the storing of your Answer Responses by enabling Tracking Mode under your Settings, which affords additional features such as the ability to store Question Sets from searches and support for status indicators on Questions.
You are under no obligation to opt-in to use of Tracking Mode, but if you choose to NOT enable Tracking Mode (so that your Answer response data is not saved on the Webel Q&A server) you will not have access to all features.
